Incomplete clips in FCP

Hi.. I recently shot a gig that was 3 hours long... was using 3 x 8GB P2 cards and shot continuously...

I checked each card in P2 Log Pro before deleting the card and reloading in the camera..

I'm using FCP 6.0.2 and it will not import the footage.. clips appear incomplete...

I've already completed the job by importing through P2 Log.. although there was an annoying skip at the end of each card... I had 3 other cameras shooting DV footage and the sync was a bit of a pain.. but as I said have done the job and client is happy...

I guess there's 2 questions in there...

1- Why did FCP see the clips as incomplete...

2 - Why is there an issue with P2 log with a skip at the end of each card...

I wish I could help, but it's kinda of hard.

For example, what version of QT on what OS version?

How did you copy the volumes over? To what?

And of course, you did copy protect the p2 card before mounting it?
