Inception

I have no idea what the poo poo this film is about. DiCaprio and Nolan being involved means it will be one to check out. I really enjoyed two of Nolan's non-Batman films, Memento and The Prestige. Hopefully Inception will be one to add to that list.

And DiCaprio is almost always solid, so I'm interested to see what kind of character he'll play here.

The few images of the guys slowly jumping through the air kinda reminds me of The Matrix a bit. Although, that is not necessarily a bad thing, and I'm sure Nolan isn't ripping it off, but maybe just has a few similarities in terms of the action set pieces.
 
The new trailer has given us more, and I have to say, it looks pretty damn good!

I have pure faith in Nolan and the films he makes. No doubt this will be another good film to add to his excellent collection.
 
Nolan and Dicaprio, two powerhouses in solid masterful filmmaking. I cannot wait. the trailer looks amazing.

I think I read it was about Dicaprio's character being a guy who goes into people's minds and dreams to steal secrets. I think he gets hired by big companies to do this to competition, or something like that... not sure if I remember it right, and where I heard it.

Either way, this thing is going to get buzz. Very cool stuff.
 
This looks trippy. It looks like Nolan will deliver once again. Of course we don't really know ANYTHING about the movie yet, but whatever. I'll definitely check it out.

Hmmm... I could see this being the case. And if it is then poo poo!!!!! I'm working on a sci-fi/thriller script with my brother that has some very very similar elements to the premise (the bit about rival companies using people that can enter dreams to basically perform corporate espionage).

My theory is that this is kind of a heist movie, but the MacGuffin is something (an idea) inside someone's head. The tagline on the poster is your mind is the scene of the crime. Maybe he will lay it out like a heist flick with the set up and the team of specialists that will then try to infiltrate the target's mind?

It does look very cool and I love the look of the film from what I've seen in the trailer. Now I also really want to know what the premise is so that if the idea I've been working on with my brother is too similar to Inception, then I can at least scrap it now and not waste a bunch of time on it. There is no way I want to attempt going up against Christopher freaking Nolan and his 200 million dollar budget.

Sometimes it is best to know which battles to fight, and which ones to turn and run from with tail tucked between legs like a terrified dog.

Of course, I might be jumping the gun. Maybe my idea is not too similar. Of course I'll probably never know because Christopher Nolan keeps his films' stories under wraps pretty well. It could very well be a minimum of 5-7 months before we know what Inception's actual premise is.

Also, just for fun, here is an April Fool's Day post from Script Shadow (a script review blog). The reviewer pretended to have gotten access to and read a copy of the screenplay for Inception.

So has anyone seen the newest trailer that was with Iron Man? It has to be one of the best trailers I've ever seen. So epic and amazing. This film is just going to be too good! Nolan is a freaking genius!
 
Yes, the VFX look amazing. But the great thing about Nolan is he creates a great story first and then uses the VFX to help tell that story. Not the other way around, like some Directors *cough* Lucas *cough*
Also, he casts some excellent talent.
 
I am so excited for this. I almost feel like I am too excited. I pretty much pooped myself when I saw the new trailer at Iron Man 2.

I almost crapped in pfista's pants as well when I saw the new Inception trailer. Looking forward to reviewing this one for sure.

I've been waiting for inception since early last year. Drpos the day before my birthday, surely a grand present from the Cosmic Order.

Original Material is what everyone's begging for, I'm surprised that this isn't getting MORE attention on these boards.
