Inception

I'm going to see it again in IMAX. Unfortunately none of the midnight showings here were in IMAX...... I've never seen a movie twice in the theater. This will be my first. Thats how good it was.

A real IMAX theater that is showing it is 2 Hours from me. I really might take the trip and make a day out of it. The only movies I have paid to see twice were, The Matrix, Avatar, Predator and 3 hours from now Inception.

This makes Memento and the Dark Knight look like Batman Begins. It makes The Matrix look like a Star Wars prequel.

Make sure you go to a real IMAX not the fakey IMAX's. If it's in a multiplex, it's probably not an IMAX.

Oh yeah, They got me once. never again. The closest one is in King of Prussia. Baltimore has a real one but they only show the science stuff. They are called "Liemax" they even have a website to tell the real from the fake.:kali:

I still think the orginal Matrix is better.

mine was at a liemax. i never knew there was such a thing, although every time i've been in there i thought that theater didn't seem much larger than a regular big screen. thinking back on it, real imax screens are enormous. i saw batman begins opening night on a real imax screen and the whole seating arrangement is different. i guess i've got to drive to raleigh to see it again in real imax. i also saw the midnight showing of avatar at this fake imax. maybe i'll go see the re-release in real imax as well. how did i not see through this before? maybe someone put the idea in my mind that they were the same thing through inception.

Here is great link to find out which is which:

I want to write something but I need to pick my brain up off the floor. Not to be seen by anyone with a tenuous grip on reality as the end of the film made me question the veracity of my own existence.

I saw Inception last night at midnight at the Rave theater at Howard Hughes center, and I'm definitely seeing it again today. I almost stayed up all night just laying there in bed thinking about it, it's such a psychological trip. Phenomenal film.

I just saw it and I agree 100%. I will see it again.

So, no spoilers please, but I'm trying to get my girlfriend to see this, and she hates depressing movies. I know Nolan is usually dark, but how downbeat is the ending? If the ending's not a total downer then she might be alright with the movie as a whole.

Yes, it's as lame of an issue as it sounds.

The ending is quite the Opposite. And that is all I'm going to tell you.:Drogar-Shock(DBG):

Awesome. Awesome. This means I can see it this weekend with her instead of an arduous wait until Monday or Tuesday. Excellent.

Not really SPOILER ALERT but just in case someone else thinks it is...SPOILER ALERT:

Okay, yeah. great great flick. Very Matrixesque. Beautifully shot and WOWOWOW that no-gravity scene in the hotel was friggin' AWESOME. HOW IN THE HELL???

But at the end, I left my head asking, "did the top stop?"

Got my department all lined up to go see it tomorrow afternoon.

Gawd it's like herding cats. There's your dream imagery, right there...

Just came back from seeing it - it's definitely a good movie, but I don't know about making the matrix look like a Star Wars prequel.
:)

Not that I disagree overall...just that, well, it had BETTER be better than a movie that covered a lot of the same ground and came out 11 years ago.

In my opinion it's not better than The Matrix or Memento. Still, it was incredible, and the very last shot of the film was just EPIC.

9.5/10
