in-sync stopped making BLADE?!

Re: in-sync stopped making BLADE?!

Thanks RCE... sorry things seem to be getting a little heated lately.. must be tax season or something.

Re: in-sync stopped making BLADE?!

:D And I am getting a boat load back! A small boat. Like a dinghy or something. But you know I am planning the next wave of film purchases!

Re: in-sync stopped making BLADE?!

if you got problems with in-sync products visit their website.
they have a forum their for (for registered users?) dedicated to Blade2. there is also a forum at www.pigsfly.com with lots of professionals answering questions.
It was Steve's decision to leave.. I didn't suppress his opinions, tell him to behave or tell him to leave.. His problem with EVS stemmed from making an order for a discontinued product that he saw elsewhere and when he placed the order EVS sent him the current product that did not include a plastic case that came with the discontinued product. EVS couldn't get the case because it was no longer available, and thats where the miscommunication was made, and I even personally phoned EVS to find out exactly what happened with his order, and was satisfied with the EVS's decision, they offered to give him a refund, But Steve was not happy with that offer.

That was a few months ago, and recently a member posted how happy they where with the service EVS game him. Steve saw the post and replied that he was unhappy, and the following responses didn't really back him up, so he got upset.
Oh. Just because Steve 'Me against the evil world' can't temper his temper I lost the only "DVX and Blade'-forum in the world I had just discovered, great. I was waiting for his Blade-Tutorials. And in-sync's support is slow to non-existent. I mean, we are not talking about freeware here...

Re: in-sync stopped making BLADE?!

Yeah, Jarred... FWIW, I think you do an excellent job with this site.

A few months ago, when I was a DVX 'fence-sitter' (to borrow verbage from Marjamar)... I spent more time at 2-pop.

But, recently I've got hooked on the community that is DVXuser.com.

I actually feel like I know some of you and your personal likes/dislikes, sense of humor, etc. based on your posts.

I bought my DVX100A just two weeks ago.

It's clear that if you're into all things DVX (as well as filmmaking) then this is the website of choice.

I also own a JVC DV500 and a Sony PD150 but neither of those cameras have anything close to this kind of an online community supporting them.

As long as the same group of people were online, this could be a site dedicated to jellybeans and I'd still check in for updates. ;D
