In honor of Halloween: "Hallow Avenue", a video I shot last Halloween on the GH13.

I headed over to Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz, CA on 10/31/10 to film some of the people and things happening on Halloween. Lenses:
Lumix G. 20mm f/1.7 Asph.
Nikkor-S 50mm f/1.4

ISO 800

Mostly 1/125th shutter

There are some low light artifacts I could've avoided by shooting 1080/24p with a 1/30th or 1/60th shutter (two and one stop more light respectively) but I made the choice to shoot 1/125th for a better slow motion look. Luckily they had lights out on the street that made it much brighter than usual so 1/125th at 60p was possible. I had some autofocus seeking issues back then that I now know how to correct, but they're not too bad.

Whole video was shot handheld with me using my Delkin Devices Fat Gecko car mount as a makeshift chest stabilizer.

Edited in Final Cut Pro. 60p conformed to 23.976 in Cinema Tools. Color graded (contrast, warmth, vignetting) in Magic Bullet looks.

Music:
Fifty On Our Foreheads
by White Lies
From "To Lose My Life"

Very nice video. This is the GH1 right? I wonder why your stuff looks so much better than mine? I guess I suck. lol (still learning)

This is a video I did at a local zombie walk.

Watch in HD please. :)
