In a bit of a jam, deleted some files...

I deleted some files by accident and used "Data Rescue" to get them back.

Now I can't open, or import the files into Final Cut.

When I recovered the files, I got a folder full of xml files with a final cut icon on them. I'm assuming that these are the files I deleted.

When I try to open them I get a message that says "Please choose translation document file," needless to say I have no idea what this means, any advice?

I've not run into this myself so I don't know if this will solve your problem but: try to transfer the rescued files onto a P2 card and than try to transfer them back to your computer along with the last text file.
