Importing With Final Cut Pro 6 and Low Disk Space

Just found out that if you run out of disk space the new final cut pro will show you that clips have been imported when they havn't. The little dot fills in showing the file is imported but when you open the file its only like 20KB.
 
You should probably get a bigger harddrive, whether it be external or 2nd internal. (if your computer can hold it)
 
What size is your scratch disk and how much space is remaining?

At least 20% should be free. and that is minimum
