I just shot footage using my HPX170 and recorded 720P30pn. In the preferences window in FCP 7.0 log and transfer it asks if I want to remove advanced pulldown and duplicate frames. I think it is NO since I recorded it in a native mode. But, I just wanted to make sure before starting a project. My FCP project also says that it is in a 720P60 mode, is this correct?

Do NOT check that box.
It would be "no" whether it's native or not. You don't check unless it's 1) 24p and 2) in a 60i stream with advanced pulldown. Never with 30p.
