Importing 16G P2 into FC Pro 6.0

Okay, sorry.

I had FC Pro 5.0 running on my G4 powerbook but was only able to import DV footage of the P2 Cards.

I bought and installed FC Pro 6.0 and the P2 cd software. Now FC Pro does not see the P2 card? But the card shows up fine on the desk top?

Open up File>Log and Transfer. Also, make sure you have downloaded the 16gb P2 driver for your computer.

How do you recommend we transfer everything to hardrives?

Any other workflow sugestions?

It sounds not logical if the camera and your mac see the p2 card then you must be able capture the files in FCP 6 with firewire I thought.

You need to have up-to-date P2 drivers installed in order to use P2 cards, the ones on the CD are likely too old to support 16GB and larger cards.

Capturing live video directly from the DV port using Firewire doesn't require drivers.

I guess we are not talking about a P2store manager or something outher device I hope
I mean just the camera connected with firewire P2 card on mine powermac with FCP 6 nothing else I dont use a card slot in mine powermac

On the CD there are 2 maps one is for the AJ-PCD20 the outher for AJ-PCS060
The third part a install sign P2PCcard Install.pkg that's the one you mean??

As THoff has stated a couple of times, do not use the CD installer for the driver.

Download the latest Intel/Mac driver from the link he has provided, and use it to installed the p2 card package.

Sorry Guys I been there the download site that THoff show me on his last link.
And it says PC driver for Mac Intel on the install map and in the manual says :"This driver software is for referencing the content of a P2 card on a Macintosh Powerbook with a PC card slot"

I dont have a Intel Mac or Powerbook with PC card slot
I have a Powermac G5 PPC model that's why I'm getting confused
