Does the A1 automatically write mpeg format to tape? Or is this something that happens upon import?
I'b beginning to notice a slight "RED'S" problem, where they get slightly blocky. I never had this problem with the DVX when i imported as AVI, but i did have a problem when i imported DVX into my macbook pro as MOV.
Now im beginning to think that MPEG suffers from the same problem as MOV with the reds. Is there any program that would import the footage as AVI, or would it only be doing as much as, importing the MPEG footage as AVI, therefor the damage is done?
