It woud really come in handy if Red had an option to invert the image that was being recorded. This would make this camera easierto use in low mode applications such as stedicam or jib work.

do you mean to flip the image back like when you have a 35mm adapter on a camera, because thatd be kind of pointless on the RED

that doesnt make any sense, why would you need the image flipped if its above or below your head?

Sometimes for speed and convenience, at least for Steadicam low mode, you don't bother to remount the camera, but just flip the entire sled upside down and then flip the LCD monitor for viewing. Then flip the recorded footage right way up again in post.

Pokey1's suggestion would just save the last step. However, it wouldn't be worth doing if it added significant cost, as flipping in post is trivial, although I suppose it might save time to render depending on your NLE and hardware.
