Im using the Sony Cyber shot needing a new cam

Ive gotten people telling me to get the canon t1i some saying the canon 7d i dont know where my price range is im looking for a film look

Total honesty, that's a lot better than I was expecting from a cybershot. You clearly know what you're doing, its just a matter of getting the features you're looking for.

T1i is a great camera, but it's limiting in the framerates you can use, which isnt even a standard, but it gets you closer for about $900.

I'd look for a used 7D. It'll be worth it in the end if you're going the way I think you're going.
