Goes without saying but I'm sure you have already thought about access to the color matrix? It would be sweet,especially in my chosen working environment - underwater, to be able to tell the camera how much on a percentage scale to record on either the Red, Green or Blue Channels. Underwater absorbtion of the color spectrum results in the 'disappearance' of the Red channel at just 9 feet depth. The oversaturated blues at just 30ft can at times be a pain in the butt. Access to controling these channels would be a massive boost as well as offering a nice characteristic for potential image / filming effects.
