GH3 I'm not doing this right....

Okay, so I ordered a GH3 about a month ago, passed my GH2 on to a friend and began waiting. But I'm not the patient type, so I ordered a couple of lenses which would at least arrive right away: the 25mm 1.4 and the 45mm 2.8. They're here now, in their nice looking grey and black boxes.

Last week the 35-100mm 2.8 started looking pretty good so I got one from Amazon. Also a couple of 32GB memory chips, an extra battery, 46mm ND filter. Another two weeks of this and I'll be in the poor house.


My question is this: The GH3 will be shipping some time within the next couple of months, won't it? Because just today I decided the 12-35mm lens would be just the ticket...

I need an intervention...
 
i think you do =) i just bought 2 spare batteries in the hope that my australia pre order with grip will come in mid jan.
 
Your the one that gave away your gh2 before recieving the gh3, what did you think would happen? Did you not think you would go through withdraws. Damn dude, I could have told you that. Those lenses would have been lovely to test on a flowmotion hacked gh2. At least you could still create. Thats like giving away your porsche before the lambo arrives:) I bet you never do that shiet again.
 
Hopefully you got some funds from the friend you "passed" the GH2 on to. B&H has dropped the price on the GH2 body to $499.95, I'd consider grabbing one of those instead of another lens at this point. There's no guarantee of when the GH3 will be shipping.

You just missed a couple of $399.95 used bodies from B&H by about just under two weeks. The one I got was in "9+" condition and had been priced at $539 one day and dropped to $399.95 the next, I "tossed" it in my cart so fast nobody else got a chance at it. The other one disappeared the next day.

Surely you can't get by with just one camera body...
 
Bruce Foreman is an enabler instead of being the wise voice for self-restraint. But we - and I - are guilty too, for listening.
 
Best way I can offer to help you out is to take some of those lenses off your hands so you don't feel the pain of not having the GH3 yet ;)
