Hey guys. I have been checking out these forums and this looks like a great community. I am kind of a newbie at film making, but I am so excited to be working on my next film project The Box. I might be posting lots of questions on here, so I wanted to first introduce myself. See you all in the other forums! ;)

1.) What is your name?

Samuel Powers (Just like on Saved By the Bell) Anyone know what I am talking about? Can anyone guess what my nickname was in High School?

2.) What is your favorate color? (it had better be red!)

I really like blue and green... but don't really have a "favorite."

3.) What is that click?

What is meant by "click?" (non-N00BiE friendly vocab.) :)
 
Maybe it should be "What is that clunk?" :) "click" even had me confused and I'm not new here.

Do you have a DVX? It's not a requirement (I sold mine earlier this year). Jst curious because it will help you answer question #3.

Does that mean a "digital video camera?" If so, then no. But I have access to a Canon XL1. I want to buy the Canon GL2 for myself.

Sammy if you don't know what a DVX is then you better do a quick search and come back when you have the answer. It's the whole reason this site exists. That's your first homework assignment.


And by "homepage" we mean the first page you have for your browser when it loads the Internet.

Welcome. The only advice I can give you is use the Search feature before asking any questions... if you ask a question in the Audio page, and have yet to read the two sticky-threads at the top and use the search engine, Santa will strike. (No lie).
 
hey Sammy K, my father use to go to a bar called Sammy Kay's when i was little and he'd have a beer where all the fathers of my friends would be. i'd go with him and he'd sit me up on the stool next to him and i was one of the boys having a beer...well actually a soda. Thats a funny recollection....did we have the same dad? My dad used to leave me out in the station wagon until I couldnt take it anymore. Then, I'd go in the bar to look for him. Then, he'd bribe me with a coke and some peanuts so I wouldn't tell my mudda'.

At first, I just came up with DivX junk, but upon further searching, it looks like it's just a "Panasonic Mini DV Camcorder." Thanks for the welcome's. :)

@ kimko: Is that Sammy Kay's place in Cali? Where?
