Ok so this is a HUGE place. But I've got to one more day here in Vegas and I figured I'd give back to the site and people that have helped me so much. After you watch the videos and read the specs on the products that interest you (please do that first because the worst thing about being here is standing in line behind people asking all sorts of questions you wish they knew ahead of time like "is the GH4 a 4k camera?" or my favorite today, "what's a P2 card?") If you have any simple questions that you're dying to know the answers to, let me know and I'll try to get them answered tomorrow. I have about 4 hours to kill so I figured why not. I always hate when I'm at home and I have that one burning question after reading up on these shows.

I'll do my best. Let me know what you wanna know.

(I'm writing this in a chair in a casino after I just lost all my money)

Final Note: No rumor questions (eg. When is the FS200 coming out?) And please, for the sake of answering quickly, keep questions short and to the point. :)

check if the extended tele conv mode is a 1920x1080 crop of sensor
try comparing with regular mode with tele mode
then check if it can do 96fps in that mode

Atomos SHOGUN: what resolution 3D LUT does it support? Also, if we are recording from the HDMI in, can we still pipe it 8 channels of digital audio using the HD-SDI inputs or do we need to get digital audio inserted into the HDMI stream? How many frames of delay does the monitor have?

JVC 4k s35 cams: what does the footage look like? I think they're all using the same sensor, right?

Zacuto Gratical: how good is the higher-end 1280x720p one? And price on their new products of course if they are giving out that detail!

Angenieux Optimo Style 16-30 and 30-76: same price as DP lens it replaces? Price of lens motor?

Panasonic GH4: can you remotely change iris and focus via that Wi-Fi app while shooting (eg if the camera is on a crane)? How close can we get it to a Log-like output? And is there no way to defeat the "feature" where the camera info turns off on the display after you've been rolling for a while?

Panasonic new Varicam: rolling shutter?

Sony A7s: What is rolling shutter like? Also, it is supposed to have a s35 4K mode which is probably a slight blow-up from a 2700-pixel-wide center crop. What does that look like? Also, would appreciate more info on remote control of focus and iris and that power zoom. Guess they aren't announcing price, are they?

Blackmagic: does that "REF IN" port that's on their new generation of cameras mean actual real Genlock / synching of when the frame is taken down to a millisecond level by the cameras?

AJA Cion: when they say the camera has a "linear" output, they mean video linear (eg 709 gamma curve), not actual real linear (eg EXR file), right?

Matthews Makalu motion control stuff: Price please! It looks nice since unlike Kessler or Ditogear, it supports genlock so you can get true frame accuracy.

1) Do they know when 24o & 30p will be added for LongGOP codecs?
2) Can the levelling feature be seen over HDMI or SDI output?
3) Can the levelling feature be turned on and off via WIFI control?
4) How are the images from the camera? Do they have any example footage or one hooked up to a monitor?

10.1" Field Monitors:
Have you seen any new monitors that are 10.1 in size and look great?

- GH4 - What do Nauticam have in relation to the GH4 (I hear it fits their existing housing NA-GH3)

- Ninja2 - Is this now a discontinued product, now the 'blades' and 'star' is out?
 
I have not heard anything about Canon. Do they even have a booth? I thought this was the "year of the lenses" among other things. The release of 1 new high end lens a few weeks before NAB and then silence was not what I was thinking. Would love to hear about some new toys :) Thanks

Will they release an KINEMOUNT to SONY E-MOUNT passive, non-electric adapter? This is important for Metabones Speedbooster use and general lens adaptability on their new Kinemini 4k camera.

I'm interested in price / comparison for both the LT & HD model. Can you see a resolution difference?

Also, any price on the VCT Universal Baseplate from Zacuto?
 
How about some non-camera news? Say... lights. Anything interesting with plasma or some other technology (LED?) that trump HMIs in a fresnel type light? Anyone showing a really thin light panel with FIPEL or some technology to trump fluorescent lights in light quality, output, and efficiency?

24p and 30p is available on some settings but what you are referring to will "probably be a couple months"

Level gauge doesn't show on the monitor it's hooked up to. There may be a way to enable it on output monitors but he didn't know. These cameras have been heavily played with and settings are really tweaked. Gauge is nice though. Zoom is really great as is all the settings you can tweak.

The DVXUser on a phone is a pain.

GH4 - No control remotely when recording. Besides start stop etc. The info will remain on screen forever and WON'T disappear like it does on GH3.

Yes it is a crop of sensor. As for 96fps,it seemed to work but the guys there weren't 100% sure.
 
I'm in market for jib crane and I haven't seen anything about any jib crane , can you look around for some and post here looking for something portable and around 12 feet
