...for the A1. Actually two of them.
I have been using my DVX100a for a couple of years now and I love it. There have been several occasions lately where I really needed to shoot with two cameras. So, I thought maybe I would buy a new DVX but the price of a new one is the same as an A1 and a used DVX still saves me only a grand or so. But it would be a nightmare trying to match footage from the DVX and the A1 in SD.
So, I am on the verge of selling the DVX and purchasing two Canon A1's.
The only reason I am hesitating is monitoring and focus. Right now I am using my trusty old JVC TM910SU field monitor and I love it. After searching this site along with DVInfo I have come to the conclusion there is no good answer to the monitor problem without mortgaging the house.
I could live with a monitor with lower resolution just for framing up shots, etc. But focusing an HD camera scares the heck out of me. How are you guys doing it?
