Alex H. Moderator Staff member Mar 5, 2013 #2 Not exactly accurate, though. The CCDs in the DVX are native 4:3, and both Squeeze and Letterbox modes crop the same amount of the original 4:3 image. The advantage to Squeeze is that it does this before compression, so the camera is recording a better image.
