ok so I was on Whilshire Blvd. by the Embassador Hotel when a car pulls over, almost climbs on the sidewalk and this guy comes out and the first thing he says is"which adapter is that? I know it's a 35mm adapter but which one is it, I own two letus a flip and a regular letus but this is a static one," so I told him it was the iFocus35 from a guy in Florida and when he looked at the screen he was totally blown away by the sharpness, it was like 7:40 pm and I had the ND on, NONE of this images were color graded or corrected whatever u wanna call it.

Lostinsound:u can get one of this babies from twocik23 in this forum
Bezakor, Korimickster: contact twocik23 for a price quote he's got different set ups, Canon, Nikon, Konica. so it all depends but it's rather cheap people at EVS couldn't believe it.
by the way I use a Konica 1.4 and it only looses 1/2 a stop of light.
thanx for your comment PIPE.

Unix can u attach AF lenses? obviously not to use the AF but for the lens....

hmmmmm I don't know, I'm pretty sure u can attach anything depending on the mount ur getting, this is a Konica mount so I guess I could use anything that fits a Konica mount, as a matter of fact I've been looking at those Sigma lenses for Konica but the guy at the photo shop said that Tamrons are better.
Ima try to get a zoom lens now.

Chayse youre right
not quite sure but I heard that is due to the Asian macros, and that the Century Optics diopter gets rid off them soft edges.

a little too much grain for my liking but otherwise looks nice.

U can see grain on the grabs but it's almost unoticeable on the footage, there some other adapters that u can see the grain on the footage itself

yeah looks good, I'm looking into one now. One or two look a bit too blurry everywhere. Is it a mission focussing with it? Like when your subject is moving?

Some people have a point about the sides being soft. Also, the first argentina netherlands clip looked very soft. Well, except for the woman's.. - WHAT WERE YOU FOCUSSING ON MAN?! lol

Well, other than that the rest of the grabs looked pretty yellow, but i guess since its just a test vid to showcase the abilities of the adaptor, i'm already sold on one. I mean dayum, i dig the look. But that tiny thing coming out of the cam lens does look pretty weird huh

Malcom the Arg-Netherlands vid looked soft because it was a .WMV I've noticed that it adds a bit of softness to the final render, the yellow look and the cold look of the guy on Whilshire are all scene files and diferent WB settings.

thanx everybody hope to post more stuff soon

the Ifocus is an AMAZINg adapter no doubt, i have the one iwth the hoya macros

but the edge to edge sharpness is not the best. The sides get slightly blurred, but hey, just adds to ITS look.
