A better test would be walking sideways next to a railing with the railing close in the foreground so we can see how much the railing bobs up and down. I dont have any problems as is with the type of shot shown
The closer to the foreground the more the up and down effect amplifies. If you use a heavy DSLR type gimbal you probably don't have too much issues with the flowing walk, however for lightweight pocket gimbal cameras is usually a big problem even for straight walking shots.
