Sorry if this is a ridiculous question. I lent the GH2 out, and the video that came back was taken using the red IA Automatic mode instead of the movie mode. I realize most people never use this button.
I have only shot 24p, so I have no idea what the video is. Video info says "29.97". Am I right in assuming this is really 60i and needs to be deinterlaced at time of output?
And should the output be 29.97?
 
Well, Adobe CS5 says it is not 60i but 29.97. I rendered a few minutes as "progressive" and I see no interlacing. However, I don't see 29.97 as an option in the official specs. Hmmm. Well, who cares if it looks good.
