You don't want just anyone using your Red when you step off the set.
Why not have an RFID system to ensure the Red One will only work when the "Carrier" of the key is in proximity. Settings etc. will not be able to be changed on the fly. The system could also have a redundancy, so that if for any reason the "RFID" is lost, a backup password could be used.
This will give effortless security to the Red and hinder theft.
