so 2 of my friends and i were sitting around being bored and pondering amongst ourselves which came to the decision that we were going to make our first short film so i pulled out the dvx and came out with a video called the icecream race

edit:i fixed the sound and it now comes through both speakers

we filmed this in about 2 hours and i edited it in about 3 and a half

The audio sounded bad but it might be my speakers.
I really liked the running sequence and the double middle finger, that was funny
 
No, the audio is garbage (a lot of the non music only comes in on only the left channel...) , Im listening to it on sennhesier hd-800's and it sounds really bad...nice vid though, I liked the running sequence to the afx twin song...
Edit:right channel, I had my headphones on backwards...

much better, 2 questions, how did you do the fist shot, and how did you do the close up of their faces as they were running...
 
the first shot as when he is in the hole? i just stood there and filmed

and when shane was running through the woods i had him hold on to the camera while running fast and thats what came out

I love how epic the shot at 2:44 is, it made me crack up like nothing else. What were your settings?

Do you happen to trick or do parkour? I just got a feeling.
 
i forgit the settings but it was a perfect time where the sun was setting for the epicness

and le parkour, we love doing it. I might be making another short film on it. Do you like to freerun

Yeah, I've been doing it for 3 years. Thats my first project once my DVX gets here in a couple days.
