GH1 Icarex Tessar Zeiss on GH1 ??

Hello everybody, I would just appreciate your kind suggestion: I own an Icarex 35s bm, and would like to use its tessar my Panasonic GH1.

I have nice memories from these lenses, and hope to be able to use them again. Coping with that bayonet had always been a deal, but I'm wondering if the high versatility the GH1 showed can make it.

I've been looking for a Icarex2m4/3 adapter, with no success at all. Then found these guys at Leitax who produce an Icarex to EOS adapter.

Would it be possible, in your opinion, to pair it with an EOS to m4/3 or would it be useless at all?
Any help would be really appreciated. :Drogar-Happy(DBG):

Thank you very much.

It would probably work, but ... obviously, the more adapters you add into the mix, the more opportunity there is for imprecision. I've used a c-mount m43 adapter, and an m42->cmount adapter, on my GH1 before, and it worked just fine. I haven't used the combination you're proposing, but I would suspect that you can make it work, it just may potentially not be completely rock-solid.

Thank you for your feedback Barry, I've been quite a while thinking whether to make this test or not and decided not to as the cost for unneeded adapters plus postage fees and national taxes are worth a contax zeiss lens and an adapter that I could further use.

This is sad, as the dearly loved lens will be kept blind in a box.. until at least some good polish artisan will ever finally produce the beloved adapter. :)
