1) Film looking this way and that way
2) Export single frames from Vegas
3) Randomize the exported frames and import to Vegas as a new track
4) Cookie Cutter to replace one eye with randomized footage
5) Render to new track
6) 4 & 5 again for the other eye, but use velocity envelope to reverse the eye movement

It probably would look better to render the eye frames to a new track and use a bezier mask rather than the Cookie Cutter, but...it was 3 a.m.  ;D

Oh thank God there is a technique for this..... I was worried that your eyes....well you know....were like that! ;D hehehe...

Re: I Was Bored

Well done! It kind of reminds me about the work of the last film surrealist Jan Svankmajer. You must be his apprentice, right? But he's shooting his weird stuff on 35mm.. ;D

Re: I Was Bored

I can't imagine how many people not experienced with film/effects would think this was real.

People would totally believe it like... somewhere after a few seconds, have a clip of you squinting and rubbing your eyes.. then going back to doing the eye flickering again!
