I agree, I think it is great for people to participate in this useful exercise in color correction/stying. I found the enthusiasm for it to be outstanding. The thread title and avid participation by some members, just made me laugh.

The girl is a friend of my old secretary. Nice girl, fun and easy to work with. She works as a waitress around these parts (you know, the Alaska parts).

We got a few lookers up here, best kept secret in Alaska. and you all thought I lived up here for the moose.:thumbsup:

But remember 9 months out of the year they are all covered in snow gear and look like marshmellows. If I've learned one thing, never hit on a girl before she takes off the puffy coat.

well, I actually "talked" to ONE person on the phone today. So, the laughs in my life today have come from here. (sniff, sniffle)

Haven't heard of power windows... Color correcting software?

I'm not sure if I remember the full set of steps I took when I did it. Played around for a bit trying out various things until I got a look I liked.

jpbankesmercer: Yeah, I shoot whenever we get a job in, right now it averages to one shoot per month. Not as much as I'd like though.
 
Contest rules specifically state

Chapter 4, paragraph 6, subsection 2.5 " you can mask the talent if you want to, but if you win, the prize automatically goes to any entry submitted by contestant with over 10,000 postst!"


And you thought I never read the rules eh smart boy!:evil:

I started this thread, its my rules now shirley. Oh yes, quote the good book of rules all you want but I'm god of this thread. Beneath my mighty hand topics rise and fall. And you think you can quote "rules" to me? Nuh-uh sista!
 
No. I'm a vega/premiere guy. Primarily because I on a PC, and I'm so much faster at it than I would be on a mac. Gotta learn sometime though, I'm just putting it off.
