Well, after watching Norm's great music video I wanted to try and duplicate that look via DVX.

Here are the results including the raw so you guys could try as well.

I find it fun.........and necessary. I would love to see more stuff actually CC'ed on these boards but it seems too many people just don't take the time for it. Even if its just raising the contrast to get that foggy look out of the way.

Thanks Norm. I try. I wanted to give it a little black diffusion but Vegas didn't have anything for that, and I didn't want to find my magic bullet CD.

It's definitely necessary, but I feel clueless when I start tinkering. I never have any idea what kind of color scheme that I want...so I try and light things how I want it to look while filming.

Oooh, I like yours Norm. The green seems a bit too strong for my tastes but yours doesn't look as soft as mine.

You need to fix your tags by the way.

dude you have a great shot there but your CC choises aren't right. Use the same lighting you have in your original but all you have to do is add more blur, not too much, just make it look more pasty or give it a little glow then just go for a warm and fuzzy, don't go for a cool blue or anything like that, just go warm and fuzzy cause the color palette on your girl is warm. hEr make up, the flower....everything is telling you to go warm....

Did a little of my own CC's using levels and curves. Prettys simple stuff.

Norm: I was going for the music video. I'm just not a big fan of green, even in the music video. I took a bit of artistic liscense while imitating it

Everyone else:
Some of these are cool.

Hiro: Really like yours

Isaac: Little overboard there buddy, innocent? Definitely not.

Hudson: I was expecting something a little more from left field out of you. I'm not feeling the yellow. Makes her look.......ill.

Sharky: Nice bit of subtler correction there. I like them, but they just don't reach that look of Norm's Izi video.
