Hey, I don't usually write topics which are personal but I just need to vent....
I went to a friends house tonight and had a couple beers, just to make sure I wasn't driving over the limit I sat around for two hours after my 4th beer. I felt 100% sober and was just waiting to be very safe.
On my way home I took some back roads. I live in a very secluded area with lots of woods. It is 3:00 am.
I see what looks like the outline of several people on the edge of the woods, 5 yards from the side of the road, as I look they barrage me with items, striking my car. I have no time to react and drive through the ambush. My windshield is now covered in some odd looking ooze. I flip the car around in a batman style uturn and burn out after them (I drive a 200hp Impala, the kind cops have (it's not super bad ass but it can move))
By the time I get there the little bastards are gone. I drive home and prepare for the worse. After a cautious finger swipe and smell test I discover my car is covered in ketchup. Not only that, but the bottles of ketchup left dents in the front side of my car. I am so angry.
I am not going to call the police because I know there is no way in hell they can do anything about it. Those kids are long gone.
Anyway I washed off my car with some water and tried to wipe everything away. It's very dark outside but I think I wiped it all away.
I am not too angry at those kids because I'm sure that was karma from everything I did as a kid. I don't think they meant to dent or damage my car otherwise wouldn't they have thrown rocks? Bricks? Something besides ketchup? Nonetheless, they dented my car and I wish I would have stopped right away and caught one of the buggers. I am sure they are all laughing their little asses off and will talk about this for the next day and a half.
Now I have to see how much the body shop is going to charge for a dent the size of my open hand.
Moral of the story is: What the hell are kids doing outside in the woods at 3:00am on a rural road waiting for a car to throw ketchup at on a Tuesday night? At least when I was young I had a life, and did my pranks on the weekend!
Is ohio really that boring?
