I need a camera that does THIS, please help!

I need a camera that:

1. Is in stock at the local rental house.
2. Can record continuously for 1.5-2 hours without needing human interaction.
3. Can do the above for at least 6 hours, either with some super awesome battery or AC adapter.
4. Media inexpensive enough that I can record that long as the 2 hour groups probably will not have enough time in between to totally unload the media onto an HD.

It doesn't necessarily have to be HD, but it would be nice. Good picture quality is important. The camera won't be doing anything special, just pointing at a focus group.

Please help with tips!

Sounds like a job for a Panasonic AG-HMC150. Cheap recording media, and in one of its recording modes, with a large enough card capacity -- I think you can record the entire thing non-stop.

Just don't go too cheap on the SDHC cards, and remember to format them in-camera before recording. Sandisk and Lexar are perfectly reliable. Transcend, Patriot, and aData are notorious screw ups.
