C200: I made a mount for Teradek bolt transmitter

I had several options but wanted to make something that stayed out of everyday operation. It's a cheap construction but solid. Two metal plates but together and cut to fit. Then screwed directly into the handles two front/down facing 1/4-20 holes. The Teradek Bolt attaches with velcro so easy to pop on and off.

Guess that would mostly stay out of the way? Have you used it yet in real shooting conditions with different lenses? That area or the right hand side of the camera really seem to the only "low activity" areas on the body.
Could see how when using heavy lenses though, you have then just added more weight to the front of the camera, could be a PITA for shoulder mounted shooting, if you ever do shoulder mounted shooting?

I often mount our Ninja Blade or the Accsoon Cineeye to the right side of the camera using a Cinevate 1/4" 20 ball head to the threads on our Zacuto VCT Pro baseplate. I try to keep add ons as low as possible
so as to not raise the center of gravity, especially when operating handheld.

Exclusively I use 17-55 and 24-105 for handheld shooting and no problems fitting any Canon L lens and still be able to handle zoom and focus.

Good Lord, Dan. What an F’n mess! That looks about as bad as the back of my receiver in my component cabinet. ; )

Yeah, a few days are like this, but not many. This was one of those days when different parties kept needing things that made me add more Gak to the camera. I much prefer to operate shoulder mounted with literally just the mic and nothing else. I really like small and uncluttered but on this shoot, was receiving production sound from the production sound mixer so he Bongo Tied
the Lectro Rx to the back of my V mount. And I needed the V Mount to run the Ninja Blade all day because this client had to have Prores, not shown here was the addition of the Accsoon Cineeye that I mounted the following day up on the cold shoe on the handle.
DIrector wanted to see a wireless feed.

Now you know why I despise FrankenRigs, because sometimes I am forced to build and use them. That said, this is the dumb side of the camera, my operator side opposite was clean and clutter free and worked fine all
day shooting handheld and tripod for the sit downs with talent. If I had to regularly shoot this way, I would go nuts but this is a once every few month thing so no biggie. It worked, no problems, footage turned out well, happy clients.
