GH4 I just tested Variable NDs from Tiffen and SLR Magic

I bought the Tiffen about a year ago when I bought the GH4. And the SLR Magic came bundled with a lens I recently bought. So yesterday morning I thought I'd compare them. Expected minor differences but that wasn't the case. Turns out that even though neither has IR cut, the Tiffen is a lot more susceptible to IR pollution than the SLR Magic. There's a new Variable IR ND from Tiffen now that I assume would work much better than the one I have. But worth noting since the version I have has been pretty popular.

Wrote up some thoughts here, but the results are pretty obvious.

Cheers, that's interesting, I have the SLR Magic variable ND and a Tiffen, I know which to take for the few days of summer we'll get in the UK.... Very chilled out ambient soundtrack as well on the video. :happy::shocked:
