I'm sorry to hear about your loss, my condolences to you and your family.

Take time out, allow yourself to grieve.

Kyrre, I imagine your father was very proud of you. You're an amazing talent with a very bright future. My thoughts are with you.

Your dad was a man of loyalty and integrity. A solid guy that you can be extremly proud of and should be.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Just read this. Very sorry. After the shock, will be the sadness but that will pass in time. Honestly. All you can do is be there for your mom and try to think of all the good things about your dad. Prayers with you.

So sorry to hear this. I hope it gets better for you soon, and my thoughts are with you. You are very talented and I wish you all the best.

I saw your movie and I was immediately impressed, as others were, with your original cinematography, which really set the mood for your short. I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my mother too young, in a traffic accident when she was still healthy. At her memorial, someone said something to me that I could only completely understand once I became a parent.

He told me that if my mother had a moment to think about her life – before she was dead – she probably would have thought about her children and about whether they would be OK without her. And since her children were grown, settled and working, not in any trouble, she might have been able to feel some relief, some pride that she had done right in raising them, and maybe she could die "at peace," if there is such a thing. I have to hope so, because I loved her so much.

The last day I saw my mother was the day after my wedding. Two years later my son was born, and I cried a little, to think that she would never hold him. But I promised her that I would love him and take care of him as she had done for me and my brothers. I think about her very often, and almost 7 years later I keep her with me. She was an artist, and when I have the opportunity to do something creative, I try to put a little of her spirit into it.

Your father is very important to you, and he can still be with you after he is gone. Remember the aspects you like about him and try to do things that would make him proud of you.

I'm so sorry to hear this my friend. Be strong in this tough time and as others have said, be there for your mom and anything she might need.

All I can say is he will always be with you.
Every time you look into the mirror you will see a part of him smiling back at you. You will glimpse him in your children and your childrens children.

My Grandfather passed away some 5 years ago. I was very close to him as a child and looked up to him and his stories from the past. I was the last person to see him before he passed away. He was in a coma as his organs where shutting down.

Yet the last image I have of him is of a White horse ridding threw a green meadow of yellow flowers. My Grandfather was a horseman and use to take me riding as a child. My love of horses came from Granddad. When I sat beside him on the last night I saw him I closed my eyes and I seen this vivid image in full colour and clear as day.

This is the reason I know my Grandfather is safe and in good hands. I believe he was trying to tell me this through this image. I have not told anyone of this before so I hope you take comfort in what I have passed on to you. I'm not religious nor do I practice religion but that event changed my thinking of an afterlife.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost him, I can't even imagine how painful that must be. But I'm sure that you'll do your best to recover from this bump in your life.
