Thanks for answering all my questions. I felt really good about buying
the camera and I'm charging the battery now. This is so cool.

I want to do a shot of car being driven as if there is no driver. I thought
of putting somebody in a green bodysuit and then pulling the green in
Final Cut Pro but then I realized that was dumb. It's not like pulling the
green and sticking in a background. How am I going to make a
background plate that matches the seatback and everything if the car
and thus the angle is changing? I suppose if I had motion-controlled
cameras I could duplicate the move with come to think of it a motion
controlled car...but I don't so does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Place a small lipstick camera either on the dash, attached to the mirror or in the grill at the front of the car. Run the feed to a monitor on the floor. Have a driver lay down on the seat or crouch below the dash so as they cant be seen. They can hold the steering wheel at the bottom and use the other hand for the gas pedal and brake, while keeping an eye on the monitor to see where they are going.

The recommendation above is good... or you can also just buy yourself the KIT care and let that sob drive.

Keeping it simple is always the key when doing this kind of stuff..
