So about a week ago I was cruising along with my friend when we found a plastic goose in the middle of the road. We decided it was the funniest thing we had seen in a while so we put it on craigslist as a joke to see how much someone would pay for it. This is the aftermath...
"Quacked the Case Wide Open:
10/14 A woman from 600 block of Lees Ave. came to police headquarters to file a theft report. The woman reported that unknown persons had taken two plastic goose ornaments from her yard. One had already been located in the roadway. A second one was missing. She had no idea who took it. After filing the report the woman contacted police because she had found it for sale on an Internet site known as Craigslist. She found a photo of a juvenile male from Moorestown who was holding the plastic ornament in a photo; the plastic goose was offered for sale for $40. Police contacted the juvenile's residence and the youth brought it to Collingswood Police HQ. As a result of investigation, police learned it was intended to be a practical joke. No charges were filed."
And yes I have now finally been featured in a newspaper article entitled "Quacked the Case Wide Open" My life is complete.
