I have 12 Betrayal Scripts Available!

Hey everyone. If anyone is looking for a script to film for BetrayalFest, I have a dozen of them written, polished and ready to be shot. Below are the titles and brief summaries. I'm very budget conscious when I write. Few characters, locations and FX. All scripts are 5 pages or less. If you'd like to read any of them, send me an email and I will forward them to you.

Season's Feedings - Christmas Zombie script

Blood Money- Bank Robbery script with lots of twists and turns

Rome an' Julia - Romeo & Juliet, gangsta style

The Cask of Amontillado - Retelling of Edgar Allan Poe's classic

Dark Matter - Bumbling burglars/sci-fi script (Minimal FX in this one.)

The New You - Dark comedy, cloning/sci-fi script

Crimes of Passion - Murderers on the highway a la Natural Born Killers

The Process of Elimination - Award Winning script about a hitman in training.

Frau Trude - Two children stumble upon a cabin belonging to a witch

Along the Roadside - Dark comedy about cannibalistic geriatrics

The Butcher - Dark comedy about the trials of infancy from the baby's POV

'Til Death Do Us Part - A handful of survivors cope with the zombie apocalypse from inside a fortified courthouse.


If any of those scripts appeal to anyone, feel free to email me at bwind22@yahoo.com to request the script.

I allow these scripts to be used for free and the only thing I request in return is full writing credit and a hard copy of the finished film (DVD). I retain ownership of the scripts but agree not to let anyone else film them for at least 1 year.

Is there a general collaboration board on dvxuser.com somewhere? Or just Fest specific collaboration boards? I have lots of other scripts available that don't necessarily qualify as betrayal scripts, but I don't know where to make a post to make them available to everyone here.

This is a good idea.:beer: I'm sure you guys make films for other fests besides 'DVXUser' fests. I need a home for the brazilian short screenplays I have. And no that's a number not a short about feminine grooming, although that's not a bad idea, it could be a drama.:grin:

Season's Feedings - Christmas Zombie script

Christmas + zombies = damn, why didn't I think of that?

I could see something like this being a great basis for another Left 4 Dead video game.

The Process of Elimination - Award Winning script about a hitman in training.

Really great title for a "hitman" themed film.

The Butcher - Dark comedy about the trials of infancy from the baby's POV

Interesting concept. I've never seen a film from a baby's POV.

'Til Death Do Us Part - A handful of survivors cope with the zombie apocalypse from inside a fortified courthouse.

You know what would really make this concept and title even more ironic?

Set it at a wedding reception out in the country.

The bride, groom, and their guests have to hole up inside the country club and keep the zombies from getting in. You could even have the photographer and videographer risking their lives for gnarly zombie pics and footage to sell to the media. And they wouldn't have any guns, just kitchen utensils and golf clubs (since most country clubs also have a golf course). Maybe the bride and groom are the only ones who escape the zombie nightmare?

I believe, like quest fest to a degree, this fest lends itself to our pre-written works. Some the best Drama's end in a betrayal, right?

Nektonic, no. I didn't write all of these for Betrayalfest. For the past couple years, I've been entering a monthly short script contest and these dozen scripts are the ones that I already had written that can fit the betrayal criteria. I actually have close to 3 dozen scripts written and available.
