I might be way off but I can't believe there's actually a debate like this one going on over NLE's, calling Avid, premier, FCP users snobs and all that. Sheesh, get a life.

I use FCP and also used Vegas. both work well but if my boss wanted me to learn JoeBlow Editing System then believe me, I'll learn it real well.

But it is some kind of miraculous irony that you responded... so does that mean you need to also get a life since you just contributed to the thread?
