Just in time for the insomnia film festival Saturday!

I'll post test footage soon!

Congratulations! Man I can totally relate to you, I have been researching and researching for a long time, trying to find the biggest bang for the smaller dollar. It looks like its still the xh-a1. I will have mine by the end of the week. I am a bit worried that the second I get mine, canon will replace the xh-a1 with the a2 and it would a crazy revamp that would support SD or CF recording in 2k resolution. Something great like that, for the same price. You know what they say, if you keep waiting for the next best thing, you'll never pull the trigger. Cant wait to see some footage!

Congratulations creepyclown. Have fun shooting some razor-sharp HD with the new camera.

Watermoore -- well, technically Canon has announced a newer model, the A1s. Don't worry though, there really are not any huge improvements or new features that make the new models any degree better than the current A1. Same quality L-series lens, same image sensors, same basic specs, etc. There will probably be an A2 someday, but not for a while.
