7D I don't want seperate sound

It seems like I do everything differently than everyone here.
Most want to use Zeiss lenses.
I don't, they are too expensive and soft around the edges.

Most want to use Sandisk super expensive cards.
I use Adata for half the price, and in my testing faster than Sandisk.

Most want to use Mac's to edit on.
I hate macs. They cost too much for hardware and again for software.

My laptop can edit HD and is several years old.
My desktop is brand new, cost $800 and had 9 gigs of ram, an i7 processor and
Nvidia gtx graphics card with nearly a gig of ram, windows 7, and a terabyte hard drive

When it comes to sound , everyone wants a H4.

I don't want to record seperate sound unless I have to.
Who wants to sync that up?

I have a Rolls MX54s pro MIX PLUS
I have never used.

I plan to use this 3 channel mixer to take 2 wireless mics and my ME66 boommic
into the Canon 7d from one of the headphone jacks.

So far this looks like the way to do this with one solution.

Has anyone else used this mixer, or one like it.

I hope to try it out this weekend, with my kids as subjects.

To me it seems like a better solution than the H4n.

I really don't want to sync sound in post.
