I could use your help deciding what format to shoot on

I am shooting a travel channel type show for the internet. I will be on locations indoor and out with no additional lighting. I might be able to get some random lighting for interiors while I'm there, but I'm not counting on it. I did purchase a Litepanel micro, to get some front lighting in low light situations. I'm shooting with the XH-A1 for the first time, and would like suggestions as to if i should shoot 24f 30f or 60i.

Also this will mainly be shot outdoors in the beautiful countryside of Southern France and Italy, and indoors with cooking segments and interiors of Villas. Any recommendations on custom preset settings for beautiful rich and natural looking colors.

I'm sure this has been discussed here before, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I leave tomorrow night. Thanks.

Hey Joe
If you are trying to decide what frame rate to shoot - all depends on what you want to show in the end. I don't think that you'd necessarily need to shoot on 24f - I would probably shoot at 30 as it will also aid you less of a motion blur and at 60i with the shutter up will help even more. Is it more of a documentary style? if so Id probably shoot 24f.
If you are big on color correction I would suggestion shooting with the TRUCOLOR preset and CCing in post. VividRGB is real nice and Im sure Steven Dempsey's clips will prove that.

Hope that helps

HD always. You can bar and downsource in post. 30F for sure as it stays tight with graphics and textual elements later on; especially if you are downrezzing, and or have a lot of edit points; which you will with a travel type doc.
The lite panel is good however you won't often have a chance to put it up on the fly.
Some kind of stabilizer or a shoulder mount. Not both as one or the other will give a look to what you are shooting.
All the best.
