Someone in started this thread and asked for this very specific right-angled cable for mini-HDMI output from a HDSLR.

No one was able to find such a cable.

However, I have tried reaching out to a cable manufacturer, and I may be able to have them custom make a batch for us if we do a bulk order.
The length will be most likely 40cm (15-inch). It seems to be the perfect length for HDSLR monitoring purpose.

With a downward angle design on the camera side, the cable won't get in the way of the follow focus, or your line of sight. Also, it can prevent damage to the dedicate HDMI port on the camera.

According to my math, if I order a batch of 100 cables, it may come down to around $30~35/cable per cable, with a small margin to cover my time and effort.

How would you respond to this? It is really up to you all.

That looks like it would work good. The cable would end up pointing downwards and the length seems about right. Only concern is that it will impead the tilt degree angle of the LCD screen, which is effected by any form of cable used. To bad the connections where not located in a better place.

Thx Exact.

I got in touch with the ebay seller. He has a small amount in stock, but looks like they are not able to provide a larger supply if we need to order more in the future. They also don't have other options with length.

I just ordered one to test it out. I will report back.

Really do not know how $10 price (with shipping btw) correspond with your proposed $30-35 per cable price.
I sense USA business logic here :-)
