I am SO lucky!!!

Una's and my trick: treat the entire run of the marriage like an extended date.

Yeah...but I hate dating. I don't see what's so wrong with the old and familiar, like a pair of broken in sneakers. The Beatles are old, I don't get tired of listening to their music, or Mozart for that matter. I think sometimes we put too much of a premium on the new and exciting.

Welcome to the wonderful world of being male. Of course I understand that your mileage may vary, but for most guys I know, testosterone=desire for novelty...

Yeah, I grew up with three older sisters, have a wife and daughter, all my sisters had daughters...If I had any more estrogen in my body I'd be gay.

I don't mind old and familiar myself. Dating now would be a nightmare for me. You never what type of psycho you may end up laying up with. I have had a couple of stalkers in my day and I'm good with what I have, plus she just lost 40 pounds and I can't my hands off of her. Unfortunately on the flip side other men are always trying to put the game down since the curves came back. I might need to start feeding her hog mawls and pigs feet.

I do like to look and she slaps me on the back of my head everytime I see a nice pair of butt cheeks and my eyes follow.

I have found that even the most well-meaning and well-matched people (platonic or romantic) have bad days and miscommunication. That inevitably leads to occasional friction. That is something to be embraced. Conflict, in and of itself, is not a bad thing. It is often merely the symptom of a misunderstanding, or paradoxically, a clearer understanding of a previous misperception. Sometimes it is just two people who disagree. Conflict is an opportunity for better understanding and collaborative problem solving. Conflict reveals priorities. Without conflict there is no growth.
And it gives you MAKE-UP SEX!!!
