Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 now does ProRes.

The Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 was just updated to do ProRes. So for $330 + the cost of an SSD you can now get ProRes and an SDI conversion out of the D600, D800, and D4.

You do not want to be messing around with removing the pulldown in post. Been there, done that. Not fun .

It's explained about halfway down the article, under the heading "An HDMI Gottcha."

It depends on both camera and frame rate. So depending on either, this may or may not be an issue.

The D800 outputs true 1080 24p with no pulldown added, so pulldown removal is irrelevant. The D4 outputs 1080 24p in 1080 60i stream, so you'd have to remove the pulldown in post for the D4.
