HX9V: HDMI OUT live stream at least 720P

Geez! What an INCREDIBLE little camera. I cannot believe the power in my pocket at this stage! Amazing little camera. NOT PERFECT....low light situations (when I'm not near my other cams)....it will be the S95 FOR SURE....but other than that....this is shaping up to be pretty special indeed.

CHECK THIS OUT:

HDMI OUT (LIVE) WHEN THE CAM IS ON. NOT when it's recording unfortunately....BUT, you can turn off all of the "options" and it displays it PERFECTLY CLEAN (It is AT LEAST 720P). I was watching it on my 50inch 720P Plasma and it was PERFECT. I don't know anything about external recorders (and that would never be my purpose)....but, isn't there a way to "catch" the stream via HDMI with a recorder even if it isn't recording to the internal card?

I suspect that this deserves it's own thread....I'll start one....not sure where to put it, but I'll start here in News and see where the mods put it? Anywho...
 
I'm really interested in the HX100v. think it's almost unbeatable in terms of bang for the buck, size and simplicity. Being able to grab the feed via HDMI should be no problem from what I can see. Just need to do more research on what the actual quality level is. You could put together a really small setup using a Blackmagic Design Hypderdeck Shuttle or a small laptop and USB 3 capture devices like the Intensity Shuttle or Ultra Studio Pro.
