HVX202EN + Firestore100 = Full HD 1920x1200 - HOW?

Hi guys,
I have HVX202EN + firestore (fs-100).

How do I make it shoot in 1920x1080?

For now, I could make it more the 1440...

"For the AG-HVX200, Panasonic designed a new Digital Signal Processing (DSP) chain using 14 Bit A/D conversion with a 19 Bit DSP system. This allows for extreme control over the images. Strategically this DSP is always working in the 1080 progressive mode (at either the 60 or 50 frame rate, depending upon the geographically defined model). This means the optical image is converted to a 1080 progressive picture (1920 x 1080 pixel count) inside of the DSP. From there all image processing will be performed in the 1920 x 1080 domain, and it is only after this stage that format conversion takes place. For example, if a 720P/50P signal is desired, this conversion happens following the DSP image manipulation in order to produce the maximum image quality"

iopuk, DVCProHD is 1280x1080 for NTSC and 1440x1080 for PAL using anamorphic pixels. That's the native resolution, which is different from the display resolution. The same is true for HDV.

My Mistake. I ment to say 1920x1080.

As I read - "For the AG-HVX200, Panasonic designed a new Digital Signal Processing (DSP) chain using 14 Bit A/D conversion with a 19 Bit DSP system. This allows for extreme control over the images. Can I get to 1920x1080 by using the progressive scan? How?

(emphasis added)
The camera converts the signal before it records it. If you are looking for a higher resolution output than DVCProHD supports, you're either looking for a different camera or waiting to see what the hydra offers in terms of an upgrade.

Like Thoff said before, the DVCProHD standard is 1280x1080 for NTSC, 1440x1080 for PAL. Your camera will only capture these resolutions. However, when you go to edit, you NLE will (hopefully) expand the picture and display it as a proper 1920x1080 (both NTSC and PAL).
