I had an error in the log and transfer page recently. FCP would suddenly quit when I came to the last two clips. When I looked at the footage I'd shot on my LCD, the last clips had a big red X on it. I transfered all but the last clip, copied the contents of the card to my HD and then formatted the card and now it works fine. Any ideas what this could be?

But details on versions of OS, QT and FCP and also what machine with what sequence settings, etc.
Also, how have you transfer p2 volumes?
Write protected the card first?
