HVX200 Slow motion

Hi guys. Going to be shooting some sporting events and I am looking to produce some slow motion, not super slow but sort of like what you see on NFL films. I am new to shooting slow motion and this camera is very new to me also. I have been reading about over and under cranking the camera but wondered would it be better to shoot in slow motion and what would be desired settings, frame rate, etc. or would I be better to do the slo mo in Vegas 9c? Easy to slow it down there..but I want the best end product no matter how I have to get there. Any body please feel free to chime in. I think I would really like to have the modes and framerates I should shoot in to shoot in slow motion and what mode and framerate if I am going to do it in vegas. Thanks.

I'll put a link down below for a short movie I did last year with the HVX and a lot of the slow motion settings already embedded on the HVX. It's at 60 frames a second so you get a lot of framed reference as to whether you should use the slow mo on it. I love the short, and the slow mo starts about 90 seconds in
