hvx200 setting for grabbing hd still images

Hello, I have an HVX200 with a 32GB P2 card. I will be shooting a small amount of video of a horse and then pulling still images from the footage. What would be the best recording settings to get the highest quality still images from my HVX200?
Thank you,

Well, 1920x1080 is the most pixels. But remember that these images aren't going print very well.

I would consider using a small digital PAS camera, which will produce much better images.

Hi David,

I understand the image resolution is low and in no way thought I would be able to print from the image. The image will only be used for web or to send via email. I don't have enough people to run props for this shoot so I need to be able to capture as many images as possible so I can scroll through and find a good image. Also there won't be much motion in this shoot only close head shots.

Thank you,

many PAS digitals will shoot at 3-5 fps. with the HVX you should use 1080PA. in post, remove duplicate frames and you will have 1080p frames.

Thank you to everybody for your replies. I shot some test footage this afternoon using 1080i/60i, I'll try 1080/30PA next.
