HVX200 Promo Question

Hi, I just registered at the Panasonic site for the P2 promo. The response window says that I now have to send in the original invoice to get the promotion. Is this true? Thay won't accept a copy of the invoice? How have you guys done it? Thanks.
 
This is very unprofessional from panasonic, when i sent mine it showed that my camera serial number has already been used???? this is what they said???
I called and sent a copy of the invoice and a picture of my serial number as a proof of ownership and now this girl on the helpdesk line have no answer for me either,,,uhmmm don't know what to think very disappointed....

It is true that you need to send in the original invoice. Jan, from Panasonic, assures everyone that they will get their original invoices back. I would recommend that you keep a backup copy of your invoice for yourself in case the original never makes it back to you.

I sent in my original invoice and kept a copy at home.
 
I have yet to recieve a letter in the mail requesting the original invoice. Since I heard of this, I figured I'd call and ask if I need to do so, so I could just send it in now and not have to wait until I get the letter (anything I can do to speed up the process), but I called yesterday and today and no one picks up the phone. I'm using the number on the panasonic rebate website.
 
I have just received a letter form Veronica Burks From Panasonic rebate and it says....

" I have researched your claim and the records show that you entered your
claim on 11/18/2006 @ 9:13:27 PM. It also shows that you received the P2
card on the 27th and that I have a Proof of Delivery to the following
address..."


SOMEBODY HAS STOLEN MY INFORMATION AND CLAIMED THE P2 CARD UNDER MY NAME... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE IF THE CAMERA HAS BEEN ONLY UNDER MY CUSTODY, AND I DON'T WORK WITH NO ONE ELSE AND NOBODY HAS ACCES TO MY STUFF..! IT HAS BEEN DELIVERED TO AN ADDRESS THAT IS NOT MINE..! WHAT KIND OF CONTROL HAS PANASONIC APPLIED TO THIS REBATE..!
I AM VERY VERY UPSET HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE..! legal action will follow
 
Nevermind, just called again and got through. Hopefully I'll be recieving my card in 2 weeks.

whom did u buy your camera from ?
