HVX200 not mounting fully on iMac

Hi All,

I've got an odd problem whereby my P2 card isn't mounting on MY iMac, yet in disk utility I'm getting this report back:
Screen%20shot%202010-12-18%20at%2022.47.23.png

The P2 is connected via the HVX and isn't mounting on the desktop, however is reading in disk utility. 'NO NAME' is usually the disk that mounts, and as you can see, is greyed out.

I cannot access the files in Final Cut Pro, or in my p2CMS application. I can, however, mount and access the files on my brother's macbook and the other iMac that my family own.

If anyone has any suggestions or advice, that would be greatly appreciated and I'd ideally like to be working on my own Mac.

Is there just one card in the camera? I had a similar issue once before, involving 2 cards...I can't remember exactly how I solved it, but it involved either removing a second P2 card from the camera, or putting it back in. Maybe it was a spanning issue? Wish I could remember more...

There is just one 16GB P2 in the camera, I'm having to transfer the footage from my otehr Mac, which is not a huge issue, but ideally I'd like to try and solve this issue.

When you tried USB connect, did you change to that setting from Firewire connect in the camera's menu?

Also, create a new user, log on to the new user, and see if that will allow you to mount the card.

I made sure that when switching from firewire to usb, that I changed all the correct options and settings.

I will try and create a new user and try running Disk warrior and report back.

Tried creating a new user, running a safe boot, running disk warrior, none of them solved the problem. Maybe I should take the machine to an Apple genius.
