I've always been a bit of a home cinema freak- and with the latest Panasonic PT-AE 2000 1080P FULL HD (as panasonics marketing puts it! ) LCD projector makes its call heard I've just installed it in the home theatre.
This thing is amazing with HD-DVDs truly stunning - with black level still not quite ar CRT standards.
The HVX connection is I want to plug it up and do some 720/1080 output tests - now in the past I've converted to WMV so I can use HDMI output from the laptop as I reckon this yields the best quality (despite huge compression) - as I just don't reckon the component stages on the projector or the camera are great or as great as they could be.
Anyone any good ideas for 1080P output/playback?
